Changes for Spring 2012 sale!

Friends of the Holland Mom2Mom Sale,

In 2008 Tory and I (Jodi) began the Holland Mom2Mom sale as a fundraiser for a Mom's Ministry at our church. The sale was so successful, that after the first two sales, we no longer needed to raise any more money for the ministry! We quickly realized however, that the sale was wanted by families in the community and for the last 3 years have continued with the event. We went looking for a new ministry to fundraise for and found Breakfast with Baby and WoW and continued the sale to fundraise for these two wonderful ministries.

This past year has been a little crazy for us! With new babies, one-year-sabbaticals in AZ,
hubbies with new jobs that require daily travel times, kids in schools that require mommy volunteer time, medical issues…and well…just life…we began to yearn for a little more time with families and volunteering in other ministries. So we have decided to end our time of leading the Holland Mom2Mom sale committee, but are excited to let you know that Lori Clark from Breakfast with Baby and her daughter Amanda will take on the leadership roles for upcoming sales.

Our goals for the Holland Mom2Mom sale have never been to be the biggest or best Mom2Mom sale in West Michigan, but rather an affordable and friendly sale where we hope both sellers and shoppers had positive experiences. We've made lots of goof-ups and learned a lot about running events along the way, but we love the community of moms that have gathered at the Holland Mom2Mom sales to help families earn and save money and are hopeful that the sale will continue for several more years.

Thank you for selling and shopping at the sale in years past and please continue to do so in the coming years. Thank you Lori for picking up this sale and the wonderful community of moms that come with it!
